Today is a good day to forget your lunch — especially if you work or are going to be downtown.
Eddie Szasz, executive chef at McLean’s restaurant, will be serving his chili at Main and Hastings streets between noon and 2 p.m. today for a free community lunch.
The healthy meal will be served out of his chili wagon.
Szasz said he decided to hold the event to share his food and give back to the community.
McLean’s is a casual fine dining restaurant located in Gastown at 200-332 Water St.
Ex-Canucks goaltender Kirk McLean opened the restaurant last July.
