Microsoft glitches still exist

Microsoft’s Windows 7 is not so different from its predecessors. The software giant has confirmed investigations into the so-called “black screen of death.”

The BSOD marks a departure from the dominant OS’s typical “blue screen of death,” which typically triggers following a system crash — or all too often according to Microsoft’s many critics. “These appear to have been around for years now,” said software firm Prevx’s David Kennerley.
