Moving on: Giants back on track

The loss to the Tennessee Titans was atrocious. But at the end of the day, it’s only one loss. Tom Coughlin doesn’t want it to turn into two.

That’s exactly what could happen if the Giants don’t focus in on the undefeated Chicago Bears, who are coming off a Monday night victory over Green Bay.

“I was honed in watching the game,”?said DT Chris Canty. “You get a feel for what the team likes to do in down-and-distances, [which] is very important for a player to get a feel for how they operate.”

Coughlin made it a point to tell his team that as bad as they’ve started the season, they’re still only a game out of first place in the NFC East.

“Coach made it cognizant to us that Philadelphia is 2-1 and the other ball clubs are 1-2,” said Canty. “We’re still right in the midst of the division race. We have 13 games to go and everything we set out to do at the start of the season is still all right in front of us.”
