Details into Edmonton’s most recent homicides may be revealed as detectives continue to investigate, and following an autopsy scheduled for today.
The body of a 22-year-old man who died from apparent stab wounds early Saturday morning will undergo an autopsy from Edmonton’s medical examiner today.
The victim, who has not been named by police, was found bleeding on the front steps of a home on 113 Avenue and 54 Street around 2 a.m.
Police took one man, who was known to the victim, into custody shortly after the incident.
Following the arrest, police confirmed they are not looking for additional suspects.
The day of the most recent murder, police confirmed a woman found dead in her downtown apartment Thursday morning had been the victim of foul play. An autopsy Friday revealed 28-year-old Sara Sanders was the victim of homicide, though for investigative reasons, police aren’t saying how, or when she died.
