A man charged in Ottawa’s seventh homicide of year will appear in court again via video on Aug. 10.
Dressed in an orange detention centre jumpsuit and looking tired, Tamrat Gebere, 35, made a brief video appearance Tuesday, but his lawyer Stuart Konyer requested the case be adjourned for one week because he had not seen all the evidence collected against his client.
Gebere is accused of stabbing 32-year-old Aster Kassa to death in early July. Kassa’s body was found in her apartment at 1541 Riverside Dr.
