Tara MacLean, singer /songwriter and part of the band Shaye, which is releasing their second CD, Lake Of Fire:
Q: What products that you use make you look and feel good?
A: I use organic shampoo and essentials oils. I like Aveda products. I use a moisturizer called Night Balm by Collective Wellbeing from California.
Since I was 18, I have been wearing Spice, lip liner by M.A.C. Throw a little gloss over that and you have a natural, sexy pout. I can’t believe I just said that.
Q: Describe your style?
A: Good old Bohemian chic. When it comes to evening wear, I like to take an elegant and classic approach. I’m trying to move into buying only second hand/vintage clothing or clothing made with organic cotton. It is a huge commitment to pass by the stores that I love.
Q: How do you keep life in perspective?
A: I try to live in the moment. I work on being mindful of the situation at hand. Little things still make me crazy sometimes, especially my two little daughters.
Q: How do you stay fit?
A: Moksha yoga rocks my world. Three days a week I will combine it with running. I also bellydance.
Q: What are your healthy eating habits?
A: I am a vegetarian and I eat primarily organic food at home. I also drink loads of water and herbal tea.
Matt Baram, comedian, appears in the Comedy Network’s Punched Up:
Q: What products do you use that make you look and feel good?
A: I use Kiehl’s facial fuels to help invigorate my skin.
Q: Describe your style?
A: Sweaters and jeans are my thing. I tend to wear the same outfit until my wife gets really angry, but it’s worth it.
Q: How do you keep life in perspective?
A: Every morning I look in the mirror and remind myself that I’m not Tom Cruise. Then, I thank God that I’m not Tom Cruise.
Q: What things make life easier?
A: Ever since my wife and I got our dog, I’ve been sick less often. Unfortunately, now the dog is always sick.
Q: What are your healthy eating habits?
A: When I arrive on the set of Punched Up breakfast is offered. Then, a hot substantial snack like a meatball sandwich at 11 a.m. Then a catered lunch with cake at 1 p.m. Followed by a heaping plate of cookies and candies passed around all afternoon. By 6 p.m., I get rolled home in a wheelbarrow.
