Betting on the Sixers is pretty easy these days.

In the two teams’ only other meeting this season, which took place at Wells Fargo Center back on Nov. 23, the Sixers blasted the Heat 113-86.
Embiid and Al Horford did an outstanding job defensively on Miami’s underrated big man, Bam Adebayo, as Adebayo finished with just 12 points and five boards.

Josh Richardson also exacted some measure of revenge on his former team, pumping in a game-high 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting.
The Sixers also did a tremendous job on Jimmy Butler in that one, limiting their former star to just 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting.
Overall though, Miami has been one of the surprise teams in the early portion of this NBA season as they are 19-8 on the year. The Heat have also been the top team to wager on early this season as they are a league-best 17-9-1 against the spread.
Miami hasn’t been nearly as good on the road, however, as it is just 7-7-1 away from American Airlines Arena.
Embiid is likely to play tonight, though be sure to check on his status right before tip time. We’ll go on the notion that Embiid is going to play, so we’ll take the Sixers at home.
