New Target store opens in Harlem

Manhattan residents don’t have to venture to the outer boroughs for their everyday essentials and household goods anymore. Come Sunday, you can get your cleaning supplies, pot holders and bath mats right here in the city when Target opens its doors in East Harlem. And though the Queens or Brooklyn locations may be closer to some residents, visit the East Harlem store for designers Isabel and Ruben Toledo and Stephen Burrows, as well as chef Marcus Samuelsson’s limited-time only collections celebrating the area. A percentage of proceeds from these purchases will go back to the community.
