Police are looking for two men who police say have been violently snatching women’s purses in Far Rockaway.


The suspects are believed to be involved in four incidents in January and February.


Around 4:15 a.m. on Jan. 27, the men pushed a 54-year-old woman to the ground around near 16-15 Central Ave., and fled with her purse.


The men forced a 30-year-old woman to the ground around 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 3 near 20-04 Nameoke St., fleeing with her purse. The men punched a 63-year-old woman in the face around 10:10 p.m. on the corner of Gateway Boulevard and Everdell Avenue before running off with her purse.


The suspects also attacked a 43-year-old man around 10 p.m. on Jan. 31 in a building on New Haven Avenue, taking his wallet and cell phone. The man was treated for nose injuries at a local hospital.
