Barring any setback, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul will be back on the field with the Giants this season.
The team and "JPP" reached agreement on a contract for the remainder of the 2015 season. The two sides had been engaged in on and off negotiations since the Fourth of July when JPP severely injured his hand in a fireworks accident. Pierre-Paul's index finger had to be amputated and he suffered great damage to other parts of his hand.
Having missed all of training camp and the first seven weeks of the season, the Giants are reportedly targeted a Week 12 return (at Redskins) for their star D-end.
