Police have made an arrest related to a Monday morning subway slashing that left one man hospitalized.
Just after 2 a.m., a dispute on a northbound A train spilled onto the platform at Columbus Circle, ABC7 reported. The reason for the dispute was not clear. RELATED:Woman admits to slashing her own face, lying about attack The suspect, 21, allegedly stabbed the victim, also 21, in the neck on the A train platform, the New York Daily News reported. The victim, who is expected to recover, was taken to New York-Presbyterian University Hospital with his neck wrapped in bandages. Two people were taken into custody by police after the incident, ABC7 added.
One man was arrested in connection to the incident, and a woman was taken by officials on suspicion of obstruction after the attack, police told the Daily News, adding that she was not involved with the slashing.
