Two suspects arrested for rape spree

Two suspects were arrested on Sunday for a string of rape and robbery in The Bronx and Manhattan.

The men were identified by the NYPD as Isaiah Rivera, 31 and Joey Cruz, 26.

According to police, a 20-year-old woman made arrangements to meet with one of the suspects on East 138th Street in the South Bronx where she encountered another man and was forced onto the roof of the location. The men proceeded to rape her and steal her money, police alleged.

Another incident occurred at Grand Hyatt Hotel near Grand Central Terminal, a 34-year-old woman was to meet on of the men. When they arrived at a room the victim was allegedly sprayed in the eyes with an unknown substance and two other men arrived. She was then raped by all three and robbed, police said.

A third case is the rape of a 32-year-old woman who was raped in her apartment on Lexington Avenue in the Gramercy Park area. The victim and suspect arranged to meet, but when the man arrived he maced the victim and two other men showed up, raping and robbing her also, according to police.

The third suspect was arrested on Friday.
