Apple has set a target shipping date for its electric car for 2019, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
Sources told the Wall Street Journal that it is a "committed project," and those heading it up have been given permission to triple the 600-person team.

The date for the project, named "Titan," is still not definite, as it still has obstacles, such as regulatory and production issues to overcome.
