Are the Obamas moving to the Upper East Side?

Is former President Barack Obama looking to edge in on the hometown of President Donald Trump? If the rumors are true, perhaps.

Multiple sources told Page Six that 44 and former first lady Michelle Obama have their eyes on 10 Gracie Square on the Upper East Side.

The couple was recently spotted touring the luxury 15-story building between East End Avenue and East River Drive, and Page Six reported that a duplex in the building entered a contract for $10 million last week.

However, it is not confirmed if the duplex was contracted to the Obamas.

Earlier this year, the couple bought a nine-bedroom, Tudor-style mansion in Washington, D.C.

10 Gracie Square was built in 1930 and is a white-glove building where amenities include a full-time doorman, attended elevator, fitness center, basketball court and underground garage.

Residents have included Gloria Vanderbilt, Alexander Woollcott, former first lady of China, Chiang Kai-She, and many others.

And with its close proximity to Gracie Mansion, home of Mayor Bill de Blasio, we can’t help but wonder if one of the Obamas has an eye on a room in City Hall as well …
