NFL removes YouTube video of Tom Brady talking to Tim Tebow about Aaron Hernandez

In order of being YouTube friendly, the Big 4 pro sports order goes something like this: 1. NBA, 2. NHL, 3. NFL, 782. MLB.

This isn’t to say the NFL is anti-YouTube. You can find video clips of in-game action pretty easily. But when a video clip between two of the highest profile guys in your league talking about the character of an alleged murderer surfaces, you can bet that Roger Goodell rushes to the computer of the intern who removes such things from the web and orders him to, in the words of the great Walter Peck from Ghostbusters, “Shut this off, shut everything off.”

An internet clip from a 2011 Patriots-Broncos game shows Patriots QB Tom Brady approaching then-Broncos QB Tim Tebow, telling him that tight end Aaron Hernandez and linebacker Brandon Spikes (two of Tebow’s teammates at Florida) were “a lot to handle.”

Hernandez, of course, is being charged with first degree murder. Spikes got into some trouble a few years back when a chatroulette video of him receiving oral sex went viral (no, it wasn’t Doc Rivers’ daughter, Spikes former girlfriend, in the video).

As the video began to make the web rounds Wednesday morning, the NFL pulled the video.
