The NYPD is looking for two suspects they say injured an elderly woman during a botched purse snatching in the Tremont neighborhood of the Bronx on Tuesday night.

The men allegedly followed an 83-year-old woman into her apartment building on Longfellow Avenue around 6 p.m., and told her to hand over her purse. When she refused, the suspects knocked her over before fleeing.

The woman was treated for head lacerations at St. Barnabas Hospital and released, police said.
