Olympic fun continues during Paralympics

Several Olympic pavilions and attractions will remain open during the Paralympic Games — with shorter lineups expected.

Attractions such as the zip line at Robson Square, which saw up to eight-hour waits, and the $10.4-million Canada Pavilion at LiveCity Downtown will remain open.

The Saskatchewan House, Manitoba House, and Northern House will also continue to operate for part of the Paralympics, and will showcase their respective provinces and territories through interactive games, art displays and culture.

And the Olympic flame-viewing area at Jack Poole Plaza will open after the flame is re-lit March 12. It will stay open until March 21.

Whistler Live is also slated to re-open, including the medal plaza, village square and skiers’ plaza, where shows will run throughout the day during the Paralympics.
