Using her father’s old sewing machine to make her own clothes is what convinced Laurie Brown that she was destined for a career in fashion. Her start in the industry was very hands on, working at a local fabric store. Now in her first year of the fashion program at Seneca College, and already having the creative drive, her focus is to learn more of the technical end of the business. Brown’s ultimate goal is to design her own fashion line.
