He cast one of the most diverse runways of fashion week including 10 plus-size models in looks that oozed universal appeal: a sensual velvet turtleneck with elegant billowing trousers or a show-stopping metallic silk gown. But the biggest reaction wasn’t to his dramatic eveningwear or his ladylike separates in a desert palette of auburn, copper and pale pink. It was a T-shirt that read “People are People” that got the crowds cheering.
