The cola wars have reached Olympic proportions.
Coca-Cola, which is an official sponsor of the 2010 Games, is accusing rival Pepsi of trying to cash in without investing in the Olympics.
On Friday, Pepsi distributed flags with the company’s logo beside the Team Canada hockey logo, according CKNW radio. They also include the words Join the Cheer.
Coca-Cola public affairs director Kirsten Mihailides told the radio station Pepsi’s campaign is “distasteful.”
Pepsi says the logo is mean to support Team Canada at the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championships.
