The man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to a report from Philly.com.
Witnesses told investigators they saw someone running from the scene near Oxford and Frankford avenues. They told police they saw the figure throw something into a storm drain. Upon further investigation, authorities found a bloody knife, 6ABC explained.
Police believe the knife is connected to the incident, and they have located an address connected to the SUV’s tags. The investigation is ongoing.
