The NYPD has arrested a man they say shot a 12-year-old boy in the leg on Monday in the 200 block of Lott Avenue in Brownsville.
Esau Johnson, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested Wednesday on charges of felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
At the time of the incident, the child was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
