An unruly teen was arrested for allegedly breaking a bunch of households items after his mother took away his cell phone.
According to police reports, on Saturday night officers were called to a home on Thorn Street in Mattapan to investigate an argument between and mother and son.
When police arrived, the mother told officers her son lost his temper and began breaking household items after she confiscated his cell phone for bad behavior.
According to reports, police found two smashed lamps and a damaged dining room chair.
The mother told police she took her son’s phone away because he was “running with the wrong crowd” and “doing poorly in school.”
The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with willful and malicious destruction of property.
