Authorities have tentatively identified the remains of a man found floating in the Charles River this morning.
The man was 36 years old and had a last known address of Boston, according to the Suffolk district attorney’s office. His name was not released.
State police received a call for a possible body in the water at about 9 a.m. near the Longfellow Bridge. Police from the Marine Unit recovered the remains.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine how the man died.
Authorities are investigating.
