Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found injured and semi-conscious at a Queens bus stop earlier this week.
On March 21 at about 9:03 a.m. emergency personnel took the unknown man to New York Presbyterian/Queens hospital after a passerby found him with facial injuries and abrasions at a bus stop located on the corner of 46th Avenue and Auburndale Lane, according to authorities.
Due to his condition, the man is unable to communicate, police said, and it has not yet been determined how he sustained the injuries on his face.
Authorities describe the man — who is currently hospitalized in stable condition — to be Asian, in his 50s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
When he was found he was wearing a white T-shirt and a light gray Old Navy hooded sweatshirt with a wolf and the number 9 on the back.
Police have released a photo of the man while he is in the hospital.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
