Police wrangle escaped goat in Brooklyn

A hospital worker helped police catch an escaped goat that was running loose in Bedford-Stuyvesant early this morning, Eyewitness News reports.

The goat was spotted running on Fulton Avenue around 1 a.m.

It was later cornered in a parking lot on Herkimer Street, across from Interfaith Medical Center when a hospital security guard tried to lasso the animal with a rope.

After several failed attempts, the guard finally grabbed the goat by the horns while police officers tied the animal up. The goat is believed to have escaped from a slaughterhouse. It has been taken to Animal Care and Control.
