Reports: Celtics to add guard Leandro Barbosa

The already deep Celtics got deeper Wednesday when reports came out that they were set to sign guard Leandro Barbosa.

Barbosa is expected to backup Rajon Rondo at point guard and will help fill in at the 2-guard position while Avery Bradley continues to recover from shoulder surgery. Barbosa can create his own shot and once averaged nearly 20 points per game (18.1 in 2006-07) with the Phoenix Suns.
