Simon & Garfunkel will still play in Halifax — it’s just going to be later than first thought.
The back-to-back Simon & Garfunkel concerts scheduled for the Halifax Metro Centre next month have been rescheduled for July 24 and 25.
It was announced on the duo’s website its North American tour has been put on hold citing a vocal strain to Art Garfunkel. The tour began Saturday in New Orleans and was to continue tonight in Vancouver.
The original dates for Halifax were May 17 and 18. Tickets issued for those dates will be honoured at the door.
The rescheduled dates now fall on the same weekend as Halifax Rocks 2010. The two-day outdoor show on the Halifax Common runs July 23 and 24, highlighted by the Black Eyed Peas.
