Site boycotts blog for Brady baby pics

A site urging advertisers to steer away from a Boston sports blog and
newspaper after it posted naked pictures of Patriots quarterback Tom
Brady’s child gained traffic yesterday.

“Boycott Barstool,” started after Barstool Sports editor David
Portnoy posted pics of 2-year-old Benjamin Brady with comments about the
child’s genitalia.

The photos depicting a nude baby Brady on the beach with supermodel
mom Gisele were removed from the site after state police visited Portnoy
Friday.

According to reports, police went to Portnoy’s home at the request
of Attorney General Martha Coakley, who called the post and alleged
comments about the child’s genitalia “troubling.”

Portnoy agreed to remove the photos, and no further criminal action is being taken, reports said.

Portnoy has taken heat nationally, even getting negative comments from shock jock Howard Stern.

The
anti-Barstool site says advertisers are allegedly pulling their names
from the Barstool publications, but the site claims it is “not trying to
stop Barstool Sports from doing what they do,”

they just “simply want to make sure Boston-area advertisers know what they’re supporting.”

Portnoy commented via Twitter, “If you ain’t getting boycotted by somebody, you ain’t trying hard enough.”
