Sixers release schedule

The NBA is continuing to conduct business as if there will be a regular season, despite an ongoing lockout. The league released its full schedule for the 2011-12 season Tuesday.

The NBA’s 66th season tips off with two games on Nov. 1, when the defending champion Dallas Mavericks host the Chicago Bulls (8 p.m., TNT), followed by the L.A. Lakers hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder (10:30, TNT).

On the home front, the Sixers open the season the next day, Nov. 2, in Toronto. The team makes its home debut Nov. 4 against Minnesota at the Wells Fargo Center with a 7 p.m. tip.

Marquee home games include: vs. New York, Nov. 26; vs. Atlanta, Dec. 16; vs. OKC, Jan. 20; vs. L.A. Lakers, Feb. 6; vs. Boston, Feb. 10; vs. Dallas, Feb. 17; vs. Miami, March 16; vs. Orlando, April 7; vs. Chicago, April 13.

Partial season-ticket plans are available for as low as $99, according to the press release. Go to SIXERS.com for more information … of course, this is contingent upon there being a season.

Which probably won’t happen … right, Chuck?
