Small-business owners around Zuccotti Park will be holding a counter protest against Occupy Wall Street today on the steps of City Hall, FOX News is reporting.
The store owners say the two-month-long Occupy Wall Street protest has destroyed their businesses and they report losing a combined $479,000, FOX reported over the weekend.
The money loss is mainly due to a loss of foot traffic.
Business owners and their employees will protest on the steps of City Hall at 5 p.m., telling Mayor Michael Bloomberg they want him to crack down on the encampment and send the protesters home.
