Gennady Golovkin - GGG and Canelo Alvarez are set to throw down in a boxing ring on Saturday night in Las Vegas, but what is the real time the main event fight will start?


The PPV offering on HBO will start at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with three undercard fights - seven total (not all will be broadcast on the PPV). Here are the undercard fights:

The main event between Golovkin GGG and Canelo Alvarez will start at approximately 10:53 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (7:53 Vegas time). The main event fight start time is considerably earlier than the Floyd Mayweather - Conor McGregor fight start time and typical boxing main events.
