In case you weren’t aware, HBO’s little show about court intrigue and dragons is pretty popular with people. According to HBO, last Sunday’s episode of “Game of Thrones” broke a series ratings record with 7.2 million people watching live at 9 p.m. when the show aired, and 8.5 million viewers overall for the night. Not only was that a series record, it was the fourth time this season the show has broken its own ratings record. Not too shabby for an episode that didn’t even kill anyone that exciting. No word yet on whether it broke any piracy records as well.
