A Boston Police officer shot and killed a suspect who led them on a chase that started in Boston and ended on the South Shore this morning.
The driver was taken to South Shore Hospital where he died. No names were released.
The chase started this morning in Boston as a hit and run. Boston and State police followed the driver on to the highway and down Route 3.
It ended about 11 a.m. on an exit ramp near Rockland, police said.
