Suspect sought in Kanata pharmacy robbery

Ottawa police seek a suspect after a Shoppers Drug Mart in Kanata was robbed Sunday night.

Shortly after 9 p.m., a man wearing a black hooded jacket, grey track pants, black bandana and sunglasses entered the store at 420 Hazeldean Rd. and demanded cash. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

Police seek a white male, approximately 40 years old, with a muscular build. Anyone with information should call police at 613-236-1222 ext. 5116.
