Talking points

Reports came out recently that Jake Gyllenhaal and new girlfriend Taylor Swift had been introduced during a dinner at Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s London home, but Paltrow is caught off-guard by the story. “Where is this coming from?” she asked USA Today when questioned whether or not the stories are true. “Well, I’m scared to say. It’s so weird, I wonder how people find out these things. It was awhile ago, so I don’t know why it would come out today.”

Sam Lutfi has allegedly been stalking Lindsay Lohan, sending her menacing text messages as well as threatening her mom, Dina Lohan, through texts, according to TMZ. The situation has gotten so bad that Lohan’s camp has even contacted the FBI to investigate. Lutfi first made news for being involved with Britney Spears during her 2008 breakdown.

Despite divorcing in 2003, Billy Bob Thornton says he’s still close with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. “We talk every now and then,” Thornton tells Hollywood Life. “She seems to be doing very well directing her own movie, which I am so proud of her for. I always thought she should do that, writing and directing.”

Lady Gaga isn’t having the best time in France. The singer returned to Paris to perform makeup dates for October shows that had been canceled, only to get stopped by the weather, according to Popeater. Because of snow, authorities wouldn’t let her trucks into the city. Sunday night’s show was rescheduled for tonight. “All 28 of my trucks for the Monsterball were detained by the French government going on over 26 [hours],” Gaga posted to Twitter. “I am furious and devastated. It’s unfair to my fans and to me.”
