Teen killed after leap from moving vehicle

A 16-year-old girl has died after jumping from a moving SUV in West Vancouver, apparently during an argument with her mother.

Murphy Patricia Delasalle was rushed to hospital in critical condition when the teenager unexpectedly “exited the vehicle” in the 400 block of Keith Road on Tuesday night, Const. Jeff Palmer said.

“No evidence of criminal action has been identified,” Palmer said. “Investigators have found no evidence to indicate the girl’s exit from the vehicle was against her will.”
