The Celtics will be back in action in the Las Vegas Summer League on Tuesday (6:30 p.m., ESPN2) when they will play the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers will be without Markelle Fultz, who went down with an ankle injury this past weekend. Fultz will miss the remainder of the summer league as a precaution.

The man who the Celtics essentially chose over Fultz, Jayson Tatum, is expected to play Tuesday. Tatum has been sensational in Summer League action, averaging 19.0 points per game in Vegas.

Here is a look at the Tatum show so far this summer:

Baynes on the boards

Celtics fans have been screaming at Danny Ainge to get a big man who can rebound and Ainge finally obliged this week with the signing of center Aron Baynes. Baynes agreed to a one year, $4.3 million deal with the C’s. The 30-year-old Baynes averaged 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 points per game with the Pistons last season and he played three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs from 2012-15. Baynes is 6-foot-10 and is considered a slight upgrade when it comes to rebounding over Amir Johnson, who signed with the 76ers. Baynes has much better per minute splits when it comes to rebounding than Johnson, whose rebounding average dipped from 6.4 to 4.6 in his two seasons in Boston.
