The juggling bug bit young

The International Busker Festival wrapped up its 19th year yesterday, but it was a first for its two youngest performers.

Jordan Freemont and Paul Campbell, both 12, debuted as the Juggle Bugs, wowing audiences by juggling balls, knives and clubs, sometimes while mounted on unicycles.

Campbell started juggling when he was nine, and Freemont hopped on his first unicycle at six.

“The hardest part of our act is, in our finale, we both pass six clubs on the six-foot unicycles, and that took a long time to learn,” said Campbell.

Later this month, they’ll perform at the Waterloo Busker Festival.
