Former Doritos girl (and the former Mrs. Mario Lopez for a hot minute), Ali Landry, is opening up about motherhood and body image in the new edition of The Bump. Basically, don’t expect to see her in a bathing suit anytime soon after popping out a kiddo like those other stars who seem like they have something to prove.
“It’s frustrating for me when I see moms in Hollywood on a magazine three months after having a baby in a swimsuit. It’s really just not realistic for most moms, it just isn’t. For me, personally, it takes nine months to put on that weight and it really takes nine months to take it off,” the mother of a son and daughter (with another one on the way!) tells the magazine. And now that she’s on her third pregnancy, Landry knows her pregnancy style.
“Part of me wants to wake up in the morning and throw on a big pair of pants– probably my husband’s– and a sweatshirt. But when I do that, I look in the mirror and I just don’t feel good about myself. So I really try to pull it all together, and I do feel so much better.”
