The Word: Cox, Arquette deliver the puns

Why are separated couple David Arquette and Courtney Cox talking so much about all of the non-sex they had at Disney World? On Wednesday at “The Late Show,” Cox told David Letterman that Arquette tried to seduce her during their recent vacation. “He did try to hit on me, yeah,” she said. “He hit pretty hard, and I said, ‘You know, you don’t have the Fast Pass right now. Not to that ride!’” As for Arquette, he wasn’t as subtle — or pun-filled — on “The Howard Stern Show”. “Listen, I tried to f— her, and she doesn’t even want me. Oh, that’s probably something I shouldn’t have said.”

David! There are so many puns you could have used instead of the F-word! “I wanted her to jump on my Monorail to Pleasure Island.” Or, “She declined Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, if you get my drift.” Even: “Alas, there was no Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the bedroom that night.” Or maybe Cox just said no because Arquette could never find her Epcot Center?

Seann William Scott is out of rehab

Seann William Scott has left rehab after completing a 30-day stint for as-yet-undisclosed “health and personal reasons,” according to Us Weekly. The “American Pie” actor “completed a successful treatment program,” his rep confirms to the magazine. “He is looking forward to beginning production next month on ‘American Reunion’ for Universal Pictures.” I wish him the best, as I can’t imagine acting like Steve Stifler is the best thing for your mental health.

No end to ‘Friday’

“Glee” is considering using a cover of Rebecca Black’s YouTube hit, “Friday,” in an upcoming episode, a source confirms to Billboard.com. A great step for mankind, sure, but you know that in some dark and cobwebbed corner of the Internet, Tay Zonday is wishing he had just waited a few more years before he put “Chocolate Rain” online.
