[videoembed id=157639] Video has emerged of the moment firefighters in eastern China rescued a newborn boy lodged in a sewage pipe directly beneath a toilet in a case that has sparked anger on social media sites. The infant was found in the sewage pipe in a residential building in Jinhua in the wealthy coastal province of Zhejiang on Saturday afternoon after residents reported the sound of a baby crying, state television said late on Monday. Firefighters had to remove the pipe and take it to a nearby hospital, where doctors carefully cut around it to rescue the baby boy inside.
[videoembed id=157819] One fan at Beyonce’s concert in Copenhagen proved he was, in fact, ready for this jelly. Beyonce was interacting with fans in the front row when one over-excited guy, clearly in a trance by Sasha Fierce, reached out at slapped her behind.
“I will have you escorted out right now, all right?” Beyonce said into the microphone before prancing off to continue the performance.
The fan, though, was reportedly allowed to stay.
[videoembed id=157875] During Will Smith and his son Jaden’s whirlwind press tour through England for their movie “After Earth,” the father and son duo topped by “The Graham Norton Show.” In a surprise move, they brought along friends DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro, both from “Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” to perform the famous theme song, and even busted out Carlton’s signature dance routine to the delight of the audience.

[videoembed id=158634] For the first 16 years of his life, Ethiopian Tameru Zegeye’s congenital disability forced him to crawl on his stomach like a snake. Then he started using crutches. And then he started using crutches to perform handstands. And as this video shows, he has defied his disability by setting a new world record for the longest distance covered in one minute while doing a handstand — using crutches. He covered more than 250 feet at a stadium in Addis Ababa, a new world’s best for Tameru, which means “miracle” in Amharic, his native language.
[videoembed id=158831] Extreme sports superstar Valery Rozov executes the world’s highest base jump, leaping off the north face of Mount Everest. The 48-year-old extreme sports enthusiast spent more than two years preparing for this jump, which included a great amount of time developing a special winged suit. It took him four days to climb the massive mountain and reach the jumping location just short of 24,000 feet. After free-falling for a few seconds, he put his winged suit to the test, and soared through the air at speeds almost reaching 125 mph. Rozov landedsafely on the Rongbuk glacier at an altitude of19,520 feet.

Last night, Levine lost two members of his team: Judith and Sarah Simmons. Moreso than the blow of losing two members, it was Levine’s comment that drew attention. He was overheard muttering, “I hate this country,” after Judith and Sarah were voted out of the singing competition. Later, Levine released a statement explaining himself.

The Internet audience is rediscovering Prancercise, what seems to be a horse-inspired workout that involves trotting and galloping through a local park alone. Unfortunately, it didn’t take off in 1989 — when the Prancersize fitness program was trademarked — but maybe it was just ahead of its time.

Mashable decided to take their “Google Glass” — really a head-mounted gaming platform called R-Zone from the 1990s — to the streets. In order to convince people that it was the real thing, they had their tester carry an “official” Google badge and wear a Google shirt. Did people believe he was walking around with the prized contraption? Signs point to yes. Did they think it made him look cool? Most definitely not.

Brits are taking offense at a recent Ikea television ad that shows angry garden gnomes attacking a couple renovating their garden. Complaints soon rolled in calling the ad unsuitable for children, scary and violent.

The video above shows a car colliding head on with a bear; you can hear the thunderous sound of the car hitting the bear and sending it tumbling off the road. The bear gets up shortly after impact and dashes away. We’re not sure of the bear’s condition, but we hope it is all right.
