At the Grandview Golf and Country Club in Westphal, Ken-Wo’s Laura Harris lost a little ground atop the women’s amateur leaderboard after shooting a 10-over 82. Defending champion Mireille LeBlanc of Clare had a 7-over 79, pushing her two-day total of 164 to within seven strokes of Harris’s 157.

Ashburn’s Cathy Donald continues to hold down third spot after shooting a 12-over 84 for a two-round 170.

Also at Grandview, two-time defending champ Kathy Powers of Bluenose has a six-stroke lead after the first round of the senior women’s championship. She was 6-over 78.
