nice to see you again, Boyd Crowder! — Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens
is living above a dive bar and moonlighting as a bounty hunter in

“Cougar Town”

COMEDY. The boozy sitcom has a new address — TBS picked the series up
from ABC — but the same old cul de sac crew is up to their usual antics.
Which is to say you can expect relatable hilarity to ensue from such
things as Jules’ first week of marriage to Grayson not living up to her
expectations. That, and copious amounts of wine.

Season premiere, 10 p.m., TBS

“American Experience: The Abolitionists”

DOCUMENTARY. This three-part “American Experience” documentary
chronicles the battle to ban slavery beyond Abraham Lincoln, with
historical commentators and re-enactments bringing the stories of
freedom fighters such as Frederick Douglass and Harriet Beecher Stowe to
life.

9 p.m., PBS

“Betty White’s Off Their Rockers”

COMEDY. With the help of a few celebrity friends — including Kim
Kardashian and Psy in tonight’s Season 2 premiere — Betty White and her
gang of elderly jokesters continue to prank the young folk.

Season premiere, 8 p.m., NBC
