Two men have been arrested for the months-old violent murder of a 67-year-old Vancouver man whose body was found stuffed inside the trunk of his own van, police said yesterday.
Patrick Alexander LeBlanc was murdered in Vancouver this spring and his body was brought to New Westminster, according to RCMP Insp. Kevin Hackett.
Glen Anhert, 28, was arrested in Manitoba and Russell Brian Benson, 38, was arrested in Ontario.
The men, who were arrested a week ago today, are facing charges of second-degree murder.
LeBlanc had no connection with organized crime nor drugs, Hackett said, but was connected to his alleged killers through business associations.
