Two teens were shot and killed and a 20-year-old woman injured at a Bronx birthday party early Sunday. Following an argument at the party one group left 1776 Weeks Ave. in Tremont and returned with a gun around 2 a.m, according to reports. Neighbors identified the two killed as Marvin Wiggins, 15, and Quanisha Wright, 16. Wiggins, a student at James Monroe High School lived in the building next door, according to reports.
“He was like my little brother. He was funny, talkative,” Johnny Ciprian, 20, a friend, told the New York Daily News. “He wasn’t about any of what’s just happened. That’s not deserved for him.”
A makeshift memorial for the victims was put up yesterday at the scene of the shooting.
The 20-year-old woman was shot in the arm and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. The police had not announced any arrests as of last night.
