America lost a devoted, passionate veteran and civil servant over the weekend. While Senate hopefuls are already vying for the opportunity to try to fill the big shoes he left behind, John McCain can’t be overshadowed yet — even with midterm elections looming. There’s still a chance to pay your respects and see him honored, even if you live nowhere close to Arizona or Washington, D.C. Here’s when and how to tune in for John McCain’s funeral and memorial if you want to watch online or live stream the events honoring his life and service.

The longtime Arizona Senator passed away this weekend after discontinuing treatment for glioblastoma, the same type of brain cancer that claimed the life of Joe Biden’s son Beau in May 2015. Despite the White House’s initial unwillingness to keep the flag at half staff, the late Senator and Navy veteran is being honored throughout the week. There are events celebrating his life and tremendous contributions to the country starting today and running through Saturday, September 1.
