This year has been an eventful one for big artists making big announcements about big albums. The Arcade Fire have added their own numerological twist on the new tradition.
For the past few weeks they have been releasing short, cryptic videos with lots of 9s on them.
So here we are on Sept. 9 (9/9, right?) and some further details have emerged. Tonight at 9 (of course) the band is playing a show at a club in Montreal. Oh, and admission to the show was $9, we should mention.
Watch the above video and make sure to log onto www.arcadefire.com tonight at 9 when all of those 9s converge.
UPDATE: The band must have loaded their brand new videos for the song, “Reflektor” about one minute after we first posted this. Check out the dark disco immediately. Also, for the second video you’re going to need Google Chrome!
