Ever wondered how an autopsy is conducted or where the city’s most grisly murders took place? Starting tomorrow, you can find out.
The Vancouver Trolley Company’s haunted tours are back for another season — after a hiatus last year — offering brave souls a glimpse into the spooky, seedy side of the city.
The popular tour takes visitors through Vancouver while their spooky host tells gruesome tales of real-life ghost stories and famous murders.
Stops include Mountain View Cemetery and the autopsy room at the Vancouver Police Museum — the former site of the city morgue.
“It’s the nitty-gritty, behind-the-scenes (stories) that happened in Vancouver,” said Sarah Haffey of the Vancouver Trolley Company.
Haffey said at least one person every year faints during the autopsy session.
“Halloween is one of those holidays where people want to be scared,” she said.
The two-hour tours cost $35 each and run at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday.
