An activist group released a video on Thursday that appears to show a female police officer taunting a street vendor with an obscene slur after giving him a ticket.
The video, which the anonymous Mr. Softee vendor passed on to the Street Vendor Project for distribution, shows the two arguing near Macy’s on 34th Street as the vendor begins filming the confrontation.
“Go for it, I don’t care,” the officer tells the vendor, spinning around for the camera.
“Wow, you are a maniac, what’s wrong with you?” the vendor says, to which which the cop responds, “What’s wrong with you? Blow me, b**.”
An NYPD spokesperson said on Sunday that he was unaware of the video and had no comment.
